Ellington Farmers' Market Matching SNAP Dollars Program Continues at Winter Market

Receive matching SNAP tokens for every dollar, up to $20 per market, spent using your EBT card. Tokens redeemable at the EFM only.

In a continuing effort to make local and healthy food choices available to the entire community, Ellington Farmers' Market will continue to match SNAP dollars at the winter market. Patrons wishing to purchase food items with their EBT card must obtain SNAP tokens at the market booth. For each dollar, up to 20 per week, that patrons have deducted from their EBT card, the market will give an additional dollar in the form of a token to purchase eligible food items at the market. The program is funded by generous donations from local businesses. The winter market begins Saturday Nov. 19th from 2-4pm at the YMCA, 11 Pinney St. and continues twice a month through March. Additional market information can be found on their website www.ellingtonfarmersmarket.com or contacting ellingtonfarmersmarket@gmail.com.
