Ellington Farmers' Market Opens For The Season In Arbor Park
The market features forty vendors bringing the best of local and fresh plus live musical entertainment, matching SNAP program and more.

Ellington Farmers’ Market opens its summer season in Arbor Park on Saturday May 8th from 9-12. A Mother’s Day Market is the theme for opening day with 40 vendors bringing a wide variety of farm and food products, plants, flowers, bath and body products and artisan wares for a special local Mother’s Day. Please note there is one way traffic into and out of the park with additional parking at Center School and behind the Town Hall.
The market will be hosting weekly live musical entertainment for the enjoyment of all.
Continuing through October 30th rain or shine, the market has several programs to help support food security for low-income families and educate children in healthy eating. The market matches SNAP up to $20 per week per EBT card. Simply bring your EBT card to the market booth where you will be given tokens to shop. The market will also be matching the Farmers Market Senior and WIC Nutrition Program vouchers distributed by the CT. Department of Agriculture beginning in early July. The Kids Power of Produce Club, which begins June 12th, empowers children to make healthy food choices and distributes $2 tokens for kids to purchase fresh produce. These programs are made possible through the generous donations of local businesses and individuals through the Market Partner program
