Ellington Farmers' Market Themes and Events Return

Picnic tables are back and themes have begun. Enjoy live weekly music and more thanks to the lifting of Covid restrictions.

The Ellington Farmers Market will be bringing back themes, events and picnic tables to the market thanks to the lifting of Covid restrictions. Vendors will once again be distributed around the perimeter of the park leaving room for activates and picnic tables for relaxing and visiting with friends. Gardening Grows the Spirit is this week's theme. Kids can plant a seed to take home and watch grow thanks to Ellington Agway and Ellington Youth Services. A Master Composter, will be available with great information on home composting and how it can perk up your soil. You will find Dahlia tubers at the market booth and loads of healthy vegetable and flower plants will be available for your gardens from several vendors The popular band, Steel n' Eazy, will be providing the music. Bring a chair to relax a bit under the trees and enjoy the music. The warm weather is helping the produce come along. New produce is available weekly. Collaborative Natural Health Partners is the Market Partner sponsor this weeks market. They will be on hand with information on what their practice has to offer. The schedule of themes, live music and a list of vendors can be found on the market website. The market continues to match SNAP up to $20 per week. Simply bring your EBT card to the market booth to receive tokens for shopping the market.
