Ellington Man Arrested After Serious Crash In Tolland
A collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle resulted in serious injuries to at least one person, according to state police.

TOLLAND, CT — A collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle early Saturday morning resulted in the arrest of the vehicle driver after he failed a field sobriety test, state police said.
Spencer Kraus, 24, of Ellington, was charged with second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, operating under the influence, evading responsibility resulting in serious physical injury and failure to obey a stop sign. He is being held at Troop C in Tolland in lieu of $250,000 bond, and is slated to be arraigned Monday in Rockville Superior Court.
According to a police report, the crash took place around 1:16 a.m. at the intersection of Hunter and Crystal Lake roads. An investigation found Kraus to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Two persons were reported to be on the motorcycle, with at least one sustaining serious injuries. No further information was provided on their conditions.
