Ellington native, Nick Greika, is onstage in Connecticut Repertory Theatre's production of "She Kills Monsters"

STORRS. Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) stages its second Studio Theatre production of the 2017-18 season with “She Kills Monsters” by Qui Nguyen. Madeline Sayet will direct. Performances will be held in the Studio Theatre from March 22-31, 2018. For tickets and information, please visitcrt.uconn.edu or call (860) 486-2113.
Greika says, "It’s a privilege to be a part of “She Kills Monsters”. It’s been an incredible experience to work alongside such a talented cast and crew. “She Kills Monsters” is a show about who we are and who we wish we could be, and it's a show which encourages us to find and rekindle our sense of childlike adventure and spirit. It’s been an absolute pleasure to both watch and help my cast rediscover that wonder."
She Kills Monsters finds a perfect balance between comedy and adventure and themes of death and loss, while appealing to the geek in us all. After losing her little sister, Tilly, in a car accident, Agnes attempts to get to know her better through the Dungeons and Dragons notebook she left behind. Immersed in a fantastic adventure full of monsters, homicidal fairies and elves, and 90s pop culture, Agnes learns more about her sister and the misunderstood gaming world she was a part of before she was abruptly taken away.
