Ellington and Somers Arrests Include Assault, Interfering with an Officer

Troopers responded to a home on Sadds Mill Road to a report of an intoxicated male. Ryan Hook, 33, of 71 Sadds Mill Rd. in Ellington, was charged with interefering with an officer and disorderly conduct, which involved a domestic. He was held on a $10,000 surety bond and was given a court date of July 20.

A stainless steel “Live Bait” sign, yellow with black lettering and the outline of a fish in black, was taken from the shoulder of the roadway in front of the Lakeside Deli some time between July 18 at 8 p.m. and July 19 at 8 a.m. The sign was valued at $250.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., Troop C troopers were dispatched to a home on Quality Avenue in Somers for a non-active domestic assault. Kimberly M. Morgan, 40, of 33 Alden Ave., Apt. B in Enfield, was subsequently arrested and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. Morgan was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Rockville Superior Court on July 22.
