Ellington Store Sells Top Prizewinning CT Lottery Scratch Ticket

ELLINGTON, CT — A gas station and convenience store on Route 83 recently sold a $5 CT Lottery scratch ticket which turned into a $50,000 windfall for a lucky player.

Michael Berroa Eusebio of Hartford made his winning purchase of a Super Cashword 21 ticket at the Ellington Road Runners location at 83 West Street. He claimed his winnings Dec. 21.

$50,000 is the maximum payout in that game; Eusebio claimed the 19th of just 22 top prizes.
