Ellington Winter Farmers' Market: Get your Local and Fresh Products Before the Snow Starts Falling Again!
Get out of the cold for local and fresh at the Ellington Farmers' Market, Saturday, Feb. 21 from 2-4 p.m. at the YMCA, 11 Pinney St.
Brrrrrrrrrrr!!! She won’t give us a break, will she? Mother Nature, who we used to love so much, is not backing down from this harsh, severe winter weather. Fortunately you can get a glimpse of some “green” if you come to the market early and purchase fresh salad fixings from our vendors who are braving the winter weather and actually growing greens! Our usual fabulous variety of produce, dairy, bakery, meat, fish and fresh produce will be available this week as well as sumptuous prepared food items to take with you for Saturday night’s dinner. Simpaug Farm and Easy Pickins Farm will be bringing information on their summer CSA programs. See you at the market Saturday from 2 - 4 PM at the YMCA on Pinney Street.
