Ellington Woman Charged With Stabbing Boyfriend
She and the man initially told police the stabbing was accidental, but another witness contradicted their story.

ELLINGTON, CT — An Ellington resident is facing four charges, including two felonies, following an incident early Monday morning in which her boyfriend sustained stab wounds.
Shuan Lin, 22, was charged with first-degree assault, first-degree threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. Bond was initially set at $500,000, but was reduced to $100,000 at her arraignment Monday. She posted bond and is slated to return to Rockville Superior Court Dec. 20.
State police received a call from Rockville General Hospital at 3:36 a.m. Monday after a man with a stab wound was brought to the facility. Lin told police she accidentally cut her boyfriend with a knife while they were cooking. The victim confirmed her story, according to a police report.
