Ellington Women’s Club Plans Fair On The Green May 8

Visit a vintage flea market, the Ellington Farmers' Market and more as part of the Mother's Day weekend event.

The Ellington Women's Club is hosting the Fair on the Green on Saturday, May 8, from 10 a.m. to p.m. at the Ellington Town Green (100-114 Maple St. Ellington, CT 06029).

Within a few blocks, you can shop for Mother’s Day gifts and listen to music at the Fair on the Green, tour the Ellington Historical Society’s grand re-opening of the Nellie McNight museum and gift store, visit a vintage flea market and visit the Ellington Farmers’ Market.

Associated with the Fair on the Green, the Ellington Women’s Club is looking for:

1. Student volunteers to help at the Fair on the Green. Students who volunteer will receive a signed letter of service for use toward school volunteer hours. Students can sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/g...

2. Donations for the Ellington Food Pantry at the Fair on the Green. The items that are most needed include:

Canned pasta (ravioli, spaghetti O’s), Canned fruit, Juice, Coffee, Canned corned beef hash, Spam, Granola bars, Crackers, Progresso style soups, Jarred pasta sauce, Laundry detergent.

Please bring items to the Fair on the Green (center of town) to the Ellington Women’s Club booth from 10am-3pm on Saturday May 8th. Thanks in advance!
