Farmers' Market Free Talk "Staying Healthy with Plant Medicine"

Certified herbalists will share their knowledge on the use herbs and plants to stay healthy in 2019

The Ellington Farmers’ Market will be hosting a free talk “Staying Healthy in 2019 with Herbs and Plant Medicine” on Saturday January 19th at 2:30 at the Indian Valley Family YMCA, 11 Pinney ST. Certified Herbalists Stacey Wood and David Soule, owners of Whole Harmony Apothecary, will share their extensive knowledge with market customers. The event is free and open to the public. The market will be open from 2-4pm with 25 vendors bringing a wide variety of locally produced farm products, specialty foods, baked goods and artisan wares. Customers can shop the market at 2:00 then join the talk in the children's room. A list of vendors attending this week's market can be found in the market newsletter.
