Farming in Olden Days at Ellington Farmers Market

Experience hands on the ways of the farmers wife in days gone by and enjoy a display of antique farm items while shopping 40 vendors.

"Farming in Olden Days” will be the theme at the Ellington Farmers’ Market Saturday June 23th from 9-12 in Arbor Park. The Ellington Historical Society will have a display of antique farm items and will be offering hands on activities for kids related to “The Farmer’s Wife” including butter churning, using a wash board and wash tub, and rug beating. There will be a display of antique tractors, trucks, engines and multiple pieces of antique farm equipment for all to enjoy. The KC Sisters will be providing the musical entertainment. 40 vendors with local and fresh farm and food products along with artisan wares will be in attendance.
