A Few Days Left to Enjoy Rainbow Bridge In Ellington's Arbor Park
A colorful design of fabrics was weaved into the railings of the bridge in honor of Pride Month.

ELLINGTON, CT — Visitors to Arbor Park in the center of Ellington have a few more days to enjoy the colorful rainbow design implemented last month on the bridge in celebration of Pride Month.
Colored fabrics were weaved into the railings of the bridge to create the rainbow look, according to Diane Lasher-Penti, youth services director.
"The idea came from a staff meeting at Youth Services," Lasher-Penti said. "We were brainstorming back in May how to celebrate Pride Month in June, and we came up with the rainbow bridge. We have gotten very positive feedback and support from the Ellington community for the rainbow bridge. We are grateful for the generous support."
