Fiber Festival and Mother's Day Extravaganza
Thank you to everyone for helping to make our first Saturday market day a huge, fun-filled success last week! The rain held off, the kids who shared their animals were fantastic and there were smiles everywhere. Market week #2 is our ever-popular Fiber Festival plus loads of shopping for Mother's Day. Children will be able to make their own "nesting ball" from alpaca fiber at Clear Mountain Alpaca Farm, bring home a soap felting kit and visit with angora goats and rabbits along with alpacas. There will be spinning and weaving demonstrations using sheep, alpaca and even dog fibers! Bring home some fresh Connecticut springtime produce and pick up a plant or gift from our guest vendors who are bringing a variety of handcrafted items just for Mother's Day. Shop Local!
