Food Drive at Ellington Farmers Market

A food drive in celebration of Random Acts of Kindness Day will be held at the Ellington Farmers' Market on Saturday February 17th from 2-4 at the YMCA, 11 Pinney St. The food drive will benifit the two Ellington Food Banks. In addition to a food drive the market will have numerous random giveaways and specials to celebrate the day. Twenty five vendors will be in attendance bringing a wide variety of farm products including produced, beef, pork, lamb, poultry, seafood, dairy, cheese, baked goods, ready to eat meals, soup, specialty foods and artisan wares. Ellington youth services Rise Above youth group will be on hand to hightlight the Decide to Be Kind program.
