Good Old Fashion Independence Day Celebration at Ellington Farmers' Market
Bring a hat or make one at the market for the patriotic hat parade. Kids activities, Old Tyme Fiddlers, Local Food, Friends and lots of fun
The Ellington Farmers Market is hosting a “Good Old Fashion Independence Day Celebration” on Saturday July 1st in Arbor Park, Main St. from 9-12. Ellington student leadership group, Rise Above, will be providing a variety of activities and games for kids including face painting, patriotic tattoos and making a patriotic hat with a parade at 10:30. Connecticut’s Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers club will be providing the live musical entertainment. Bring a chair and tap your feed to the music under the trees in a quaint country setting. 40 vendors will be on hand with a wide variety of local farm products, produce, baked goods specialty foods and artisan products. All activities are free.
