Happiness is a Warm Puppy Dog Day at Ellington Farmers' Market

Rabies and Microchip Clinic, Dog Rescue Groups with adoptees, nail clipping, ear cleaning, Fido's Fibers, Dog vendors and Stray Dogs Band

The annual Happiness is a Warm Puppy Dog Day will take place at the Ellington Farmers' Market, Saturday, June 10 from 9 AM - Noon. Ellington Center Animal Clinic will offer rabies shots ($20.00) and microchip insertion ($30.00) for cash donations to help support the animals in the care of Ellington Animal Control and East Windsor Animal Control. Cats in carriers are welcome too. Dog rescue groups Sadie Mae Foundation, Pack Leaders Rescue of CT and The Simon Foundation will be on hand with puppies and dogs available for adoptions and to provide information about their services. Nail clipping and ear cleaning services by Doreen’s Country Pet Grooming will also be available for ten-dollar donation and Fido’s Fiber will be demonstrating spinning dog fibers into yarns. Vendors with various dog products will be joining the 40 weekly vendors and Stray Dogs, a popular local band will be providing the musical entertainment.
