It's All About Gardening At The Ellington Farmers Market

Learn from the expert gardeners, kids can plant seeds and tomato seedlings, shop the wide variety of locally grown garden plants.

The Ellington Farmers Market celebrates (finally) the warmth that allows us to plant things and joyfully watch them grow Saturday May 25th from 9-12 in Arbor Park. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or are planning to get your hands dirty for the first time, we will have experts available to assist with your gardening efforts. A Master Composter will be on hand to answer questions on improving your soil to benefit your plants There will be annuals, perennials, succulents, herbs, and vegetable plants including a huge variety of heirloom tomatoes available for purchase. Children can plant a heirloom tomato plant or seeds to take home and Ellington Agway's experts will be on hand armed with knowledge and information on gardening products. Bring your baskets and/or reusable bags to the market on Saturday, and think about growing something of your own!
