It's All About Gardening this Saturday at the Ellington Farmers' Market
Talk with Master Gardeners, Composters and Product Experts while the Kids Plant a Seed to Grow -Shop 4o Vendors -Local and Fresh!
Join us this Saturday for Gardening Grows the Spirit from 9 AM until noon as we celebrate (finally) the warmth that allows us to plant things and joyfully watch them grow. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or are planning to get your hands dirty for the first time, we will have experts available to assist with your gardening efforts. Master Gardeners and Master Composters will be on hand to answer all of your gardening questions all morning long. There will be dahlia tubers, annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetable plants available for purchase from several vendors and the Rotary Club of Rockville will be pre-selling roses which will be available for pickup in June. Children can plant seeds to take home, and Agway's experts will be on hand armed with knowledge and information on gardening products. We have had blessings from Mother Nature so far this season and it looks to continue this Saturday. Bring your baskets and/or reusable bags to the market on Saturday, and think about growing something of your own!
