Kids Identification Day will be held at the Ellington Farmers’ Market on Saturday Aug. 24th from 9-12 in the big gazebo in Arbor Park, Main St. The CT State Police will be on hand to help prepare identification kits for parents to have on hand in case of an emergency. Having your child’s information readily available for police officials will eliminate the need for many questions and save valuable time in an emergency. These kits include child description, photo ID, fingerprint ID, and DNA identification. The service is free and open to the public.
