Kids Identification Day

Summer moves toward its "swan song" as we move forward, and Mother Nature is still being kind to us! We have much to celebrate as we continue to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers. Our friends from the Connecticut State Police will be on hand this Saturday for our annual Children's ID program. Keep your little ones safe and prepare a kit including photos and fingerprints. Kids can also enjoy a bounce house courtesy of the State Police. There are a limited number of Saturday mornings left, so bring your reusable bags and baskets and enjoy the company of family, friends and neighbors at the market from 9 -12

Music this Week
John and Heidi Cerrigione

The popular acoustic duo John & Heidi Cerrigione will be back at the market this Saturday August 27th from 9:30-12:00 in Arbor Park, Main St. John and Heidi offer a simple brand of old-time acoustic music. Instrumentation typically includes auto-harp, hammered and mountain dulcimer, banjo, guitar and acoustic bass. Their tunes are drawn from many traditional sources, including fiddle and dance music of early America, the British Isles and Switzerland. Jigs, reels, hornpipes and waltzes all find a place in the lineup. Bring a chair and relax under the trees in a quaint country setting while you enjoy the music.
