A Late Summer Harvest Festival will take place at the Ellington Farmers' Market on Saturday September 14th from 9-12 in Arbor Park. One of the featured vegetables, eggplant will be available in many varieties including American Globe, Italian, Japanese, White and Graffiti. Peppers of all colors and heat levels including purple, red, orange, yellow and green will also be highlighted. Fall harvest raspberries will be available along with late summer tomatoes, apples and loads of other locally grown produce, farm products, baked goods, specialty foods and artisan wares. Live music will be provided by Cameron Sutphin.
Cameron is currently on a Solo Acoustic New England Tour in support of his Nashville Recorded EP, Heartbreak Town. Cameron has toured throughout the United States, performing in over half of the country. Transcending the genre of folk Americana, Cameron's music echoes inspiration from singer/songwriters like Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Neil Young – combining simple melodies and a lyrical intensity, while establishing a unique sound of his own. Bring a chair to relax in the park and enjoy the music on a beautiful late summer morning.
