Old Tyme Fiddlers at the Ellington Farmers' Market

The Connecticut Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers Club
will be performing at the Ellington Farmers' Market on Saturday July 5th from 9:30-11:30, Arbor Park, Main St.  The club's
mission is to preserve
and promote the art of the old tyme fiddling
that has been passed down
from generation to generation by ear.  The club enjoys 75 members whose
age ranges from 12 to 92.  Along with fiddles, the club includes
instruments such as mandolin, guitar, bass, banjo,
spoons, washtub, piano, button-box, harmonica, accordion, bones, jaw’s
harp and wood block percussion instruments. Bring a chair and relax
under the trees in the quaint New England setting of Ellington's Arbor
Park. Admission is free
