Outdoor Activities Aplenty This Saturday In Somers
A town-wide tag sale, a farmers and crafters market with plant sale and an outdoor concert help ring in the start of May in Somers.

SOMERS, CT — Spring is in full swing, and April is about to go out like a lamb, all leading up to a trio of fun outdoor events Saturday to ring in the start of May in Somers.
The morning begins with 37 homes registered for a town-wide tag sale. Most of the sales begin at 9 a.m., but some will start as early as 8 a.m. An interactive map posted on the town website, pinpointing the location of registered sales, the address, the time and items for sale, may be viewed here; a list of participating homes shown alphabetically by street is posted below.
At the Four Town Fairgrounds on Egypt Road, a regional Farmers and Crafters Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A plant sale will also run in conjunction with the event. More information may be obtained from Marie Letellier by texting 860-428-2976 or emailing marieletellier5318@gmail.com.

From 1 to 3 p.m., party band the Cartells will perform at the gazebo at 19 Battle Street to kick off the Somers Cultural Commission outdoor spring concert series. More concert information may be obtained from Cultural Commission chair Ann Levesque at 860-749-2630.
