Peach Festival and Youth Market Day at Ellington Farmers Market

Enjoy fresh peach shortcake, tree ripened peaches, peach jams, peach salsa and peach baked goods. 40 vendors, live music and lots of shade!

Ellington Farmers' Market will be hosting the annual Peach Festival on Saturday August 18th from 9-12 in Arbor Park, Ellington. Fresh peach shortcake by LuAnn's bakery will be served throughout the morning. A wide variety of peach products including fresh peaches, peach jams, peach salsa and peach baked goods round out the peach menu for the morning. Budding youth farmers and entrepreneurs will be joining the 40 regular vendors bringing a wide variety of locally grown fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, and dairy along with baked goods, specialty foods and artisan wares.

Musical entertainment will be provided by guitarist Glenn Roth. Glenn is a fingerstyle guitarist, his thumb riding the bassline and the melody driving all. His compositions suggest multiple guitars, but it's really just one guy, ten flying fingers, one instrument. All instrumental, Glenn's songs suggest moods and narratives that compel the listener to fill in the details.

Bring a chair and relax under the trees in the quaint New England setting of Ellington's Arbor Park. Admission is free and the forecast looks perfect for an enjoyable summer morning.
