Ellington Center Animal Clinic will offer rabies shots ($20.00) and microchip insertion ($30.00) for cash donations at the Ellington Farmers' Market annual Dog Day from 9-12 in Arbor Park. Funds raised at the event will help support the animals in the care of Ellington Animal Control. Cats in carriers are welcome too. Dog rescue groups will be on hand to provide information about their services. Healers with Halos and Faithful Friends Therapy Dogs will be sharing their 4 legged friends with all and Fido’s Fiber will be demonstrating spinning dog fibers into yarns. Vendors with various dog products will be joining the 40 weekly vendors. Stray Dogs, a popular local band playing a mix of Rock, Rhythm & Blues based music with a little Country music thrown in will be providing the musical entertainment. Nothing too heavy or too light, just the perfect blend to sing along or dance to. Additional information can be found at the Ellington Farmers Market website
