Report Released On Ellington Car-Dirt Bike Collision

State police have issued a report on a Wednesday crash in Ellington.

ELLINGTON, CT — State police have issued a report on a Wednesday crash involving a dirt bike and a car.

The crash took place at 5:48 p.m. along the 100 block of Snipsic Lake Road. According to a report, a 31-year-old man was backing his 2015 Nissan Rogue out of a driveway and the vehicle was hit by a dirt bike that was traveling westbound.

The dirt bike rider, 23-year-old Kent Bahler, of Ellington, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was flown to Hartford Hospital by Life Star helicopter, according to a report.

The driver of the Rogue was not hurt, according to a report.

The crash is still under investigation, state police said.
