Restaurant Burglarized In Somers

SOMERS, CT — State police are investigating a burglary attempt made over the weekend at a popular Somers eatery.

Around 5:30 a.m. Sunday, an employee of the Hometown Kitchen in the Southfield Corners plaza arrived and found a window had been smashed in the doorway.

Due to the damage, the restaurant will be closed Monday and Tuesday, and plans to reopen Wednesday at 7 a.m.
