Salsa and Bluegrass at Ellington Farmers' Market Saturday Sept. 10th 9-12

Loads of salsa, great music, 40 vendors bringing local and fresh products, friends, fun and food all under the shade in Arbor Park, Main ST.

Saturday Sept.10th 9-12

Salsa Saturday
We are celebrating late summer with a Salsa Station featuring a variety of salsas both fresh and cooked, sweet and savory, mild and spicy. All made with local and fresh ingredients!
Mother Nature is continuing her string of lovely weather as we celebrate Salsa Saturday at the Market from 9 to noon. Every kind of salsa imaginable will be on display for your tasting and purchasing pleasure. Fresh, locally grown produce is still plentiful and this late summer warm weather is helping crops to continue to produce. Grass Routes, everyone's favorite bluegrass band will serenade you as you gather the goods, hopefully in your reusable cloth bags or colorful market baskets. Join us for the fun, this Saturday at Arbor Park in downtown Ellington.
Music this Week
Grass Routes Bluegrass Band

Grass Routes, a Connecticut five piece bluegrass band, have been delighting audiences with a repertoire ranging from traditional bluegrass standards to folk and contemporary songs all preformed in their own unique bluegrass style. Skillful instrumental work and strong vocals give Grass Routes their own characteristic sound. Showcasing especially tight harmonies vocals include duets to four part harmonies. What makes Grass Route unique is that each member sings lead. With five lead vocalists, Grass Routes presents a different style and material with each vocal arrangement. Bring a chair to sit under the trees in the quaint country setting of Arbor Park, Main Street Ellington, for an enjoyable late summer morning.
