Salsa Festival At Ellington Farmers Market
Salsa lovers haven! From sweet and savory to hot and spicy and lots in between all made from locally grown produce. Sample them all.
The Ellington Farmers' Market annual Salsa Festival will be held on Saturday September 7th from 9-12 in Arbor Park. A wide variety of freshly made salsas from mild and sweet to hot and spicy will be available to sample and purchase. There will be everything from peach-habanero salsa to heirloom garden and roasted corn salsa and lots in between from several vendors. All salsas are made from locally grown produce. Grass Routes, a five piece bluegrass band, will be providing the musical entertainment for the event. The market hosts 40 vendors bringing a wide variety of farm products, specialty foods and artisan wares and takes place in the quaint country setting of Arbor Park, Main ST. Ellington CT.
