Section of Ellington Road Closed Amid Heavy Police Presence
Police activity closed an Ellington Road on Saturday.

ELLINGTON, CT — West Road was closed from the Big Y plaza to Middle Butcher Road on Saturday morning for police activity, town officials said in a message on Twitter.
The message to "avoid the area" was posted at about 8 a.m. by the tows'n alert service.
