Somers Fire Department Assists With East Windsor Barn Fire

The tankers shuttled approximately 14,000 gallons of water to help extinguish the fire.

On Thursday, at 10:20 p.m., tankers 146 and 246 from the Somers Fire Department responded to the town of East Windsor to assist at the scene of a barn fire.

The fire was located in an area that did not have hydrants, and the Somers tankers shuttled approximately 14,000 gallons of water to help extinguish the fire.
