Somers Senior Center Korean Lotus Lanterns Project
The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project comes to the Somers Senior Center on April 22.
On April 22nd at 1:00pm, the Somers Senior Center will welcome the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project. Participants in this class will create Korean lotus lanterns, as lotus flowers are a symbol of purity, nobility, and sublimity. Participants will also enjoy a short documentary and indulge in homemade traditional Korean desserts. Presenters will be adorned in traditional Korean garb. There is a fee of $5.00 to cover the cost of materials. Fee is due upon registration and the deadline to register is April 8th.
