The Ellington Farmers' Market annual Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday June 15th 9-12 in Arbor Park, Main St., Ellington. Fresh strawberry shortcake from locally grown berries with homemade biscuits from the popular LuAnn's Bakery will be served. Strawberry products including jams, jellies, pastries and pies will be available along with fresh strawberries direct from Scantic Valley Farm. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Swiss Mafia aka Barn'd Out. This popular local band, consisting of three cousins whose voices blend beautifully, play acoustic rock and country with a special emphasis on three part male harmony.
