Strawberry Festival at the Ellington Farmers' Market Saturday June 20th
Fresh from the field strawberries, strawberry shortcake and strawberry jams will be the highlights at the market this Saturday.
New England’s favorite ruby reds are ripe and delicious this week for the annual Strawberry Festival this Saturday at the Ellington Farmers’ Market in Arbor Park. Fresh strawberry shortcake made with Scantic Valley Farm berries, Luann’s luscious biscuits and fresh whipped cream will be available while supplies last. Come early!! Have it for breakfast or brunch or an early lunch! Local musicians Kup, Kup and Zahner will provide the live music with their popular instrumental and vocal talents. Don’t forget your baskets and reusable bags; come early as increased popularity this year has led to some vendors selling out early. The weather looks to be spectacular to bring a chair, grab a fresh strawberry shortcake and relax under the trees while you enjoy live music and visit with friends.
