Troop C Police Blotter — Arrests Ending Jan. 6

Recent arrests from around the region, including Ellington and Somers.

Arrest information is furnished by the state police Troop C barracks and does not indicate a conviction. 

Ellington

Jan. 4

Allyson Doucette, 37, of 678 Elm St., Vernon, was charged with driving under the influence at 12:15 a.m., state police said.  

During a course of a traffic stop on West Road, she failed a series of field sobriety tests, state police said.

Willington

Jan. 5

Sometime between Dec. 26 and and Jan. 2, a Kenmore stainless steel refrigerator was removed from a vacant home at 251 Tolland Turnpike, state police said.

About 50 feet of three-quarter-inch copper pipe was also taken, state police said.
Anyone with information about the crime can call Troop C at 860-896-3200, state police said.

Ashford

Jan. 6

Two residents of 34 Varga Rd. in Ashford were charged in connection writhe a fight at the residence at 12:31 a.m., state police said.

Alexander Iwanowski, 25, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation, state police said.

Kenneth Sage, 20, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault, state police said.
