Mother Nature is giving us a break from the cold this week and fortunately you can get a glimpse of some "green" if you come to the market early and purchase fresh salad fixings from our vendors who are braving the winter weather and actually growing greens! Our usual fabulous variety of produce, dairy, seafood, beef, lamb, pork, poultry baked goods, specialty foods and artisan wares will be available this week as well as sumptuous prepared food items like meat pies, fresh pasta and soups to take with you for Saturday night's dinner. Don't forget to vote for us by this Sunday as your favorite farmers' market in Best of Hartford Magazine 2017. voters poll. You'll find farmers' markets under retail. Chops, roasts ribs and ground pork will be available this Saturday. Ask Maureen at Woodstock Preserves to pair you up with one of their hand-smoked preserves to glaze your pork for a special weekend meal.
