Witnesses Sought In Ellington Roadway Incident

ELLINGTON, CT — State police are seeking witnesses to a bizarre incident involving a car and several motorcyclists Saturday afternoon in Ellington.

According to a police report, at 2:53 p.m., a Hyundai Sonata traveling eastbound on Route 140 was struck on the rear driver's side by a motorcycle. Several other motorcycles surrounded the car, and someone kicked the passenger side rear view mirror. Another motorcycle operator then threw a rock at the windshield of the Hyundai, and all the motorcycle operators fled the scene.

No injuries were reported.
