1,000 Enfield Seniors Have Been Vaccinated: CT Officials

Statistics have been released by state officials on how many local residents have received the coronavirus vaccine.

ENFIELD, CT — So far, nearly 30 percent of Enfield's seniors have received the initial dose of the coronavirus vaccine, according to a chart released Tuesday by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.

The numbers were based on vaccine administration records received by the Connecticut Immunization registry, or CT WIZ.

The data is accurate as of Tuesday morning, officials said.

Town population numbers are based on the July 1, 2019 annual estimates, available here, state officials said.

Estimates of those 75 years of age and older are based on the 2010 census, which is the most recent year for which age- and town-specific population data are available, state officials said. The estimates are available here.

  • Total Population: 43,659
  • Total First Doses: 2,352
  • Percentage: 5.39

75 and Older

  • Total Population: 3,390
  • Total First Doses: 1,000
  • Percentage: 29.5
