12th Annual Puppy Pride Fun Day to Benefit Enfield Dog Park
There will be plenty of activities for dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages, as well as for their humans at Saturday's event.

ENFIELD, CT — Looking for a fun activity to do for the whole family, including (or maybe especially) your prized pooches? Or perhaps you're interested in adopting a new furry friend? All that and more can be accomplished with one stop Saturday at the Enfield Moose Club on South Road during the 12th annual Puppy Pride Fun Day, a yearly benefit for the Enfield Dog Park.
Running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Puppy Pride historically features a variety of canine contests, all with minimal entry fees. Categories include hot dog eating, a costume contest and the ever-popular Best Kisser. Contests begin at 11 a.m.
An important element in Puppy Pride is election of the dog park's mayor and deputy mayor, achieved via donations into each candidate's jar. For the first time, a cornhole tournament will take place during the event, beginning at 1 p.m. Team entry fee is $10.
