2 Hospitalized Following Head-On Collision In Enfield
A man sustained serious life-threatening injuries following a head-on crash Monday afternoon, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT — One person sustained serious life-threatening injuries in a 2-vehicle collision Monday afternoon on Route 190, near the Enfield-Suffield Veterans Bridge.
The crash took place around 4:04 p.m. a few yards east of the bridge, just west of the Pearl Street overpass, when a 2012 Ford Fusion and a 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 collided head-on. The operator of the Ford, a 33-year-old man, was taken to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries, while the Dodge operator, a 34-year-old woman, was brought to Saint Francis Hospital with minor injuries, police said.
The road was closed for a considerable amount of time as police investigated the crash.
