The boxes for the Presidential Preference and Republican primaries have been delivered, ensuring residents do not have to enter Town Hall.

ENFIELD, CT — With the coronavirus pandemic still in full swing, the Secretary of the State has distributed absentee ballot boxes to communities throughout Connecticut to use in the upcoming Aug. 11. primary elections. The boxes for the Presidential Preference and Republican primaries have been delivered, ensuring residents may deliver their ballots in person without having to enter Town Hall.
The town clerk's office will process the applications for the ballot using the CT Voter Registration System. A mailing house hired by the state will distribute the ballots beginning July 21. As in the past, pre-addressed return envelopes will be part of the absentee ballot package.
Ballot boxes are located at the back of the building at the automatic doors. They are clearly marked and secure, and will be monitored by the town clerk's office.
