After Long Hiatus, Enfield Students Return to School Buildings
About 72 percent of Enfield students have returned to on-campus instruction, according to the superintendent.

ENFIELD, CT — After nearly six months of relative isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic, students returned to school buildings in Enfield Tuesday morning under a hybrid learning plan.
The plan approved by Enfield school officials calls for students with last names beginning with A-K to attend classes in person on Mondays and Tuesdays, with remote learning on Thursdays and Fridays. Students with names from L-Z will follow the opposite schedule, learning from home on Mondays and Tuesdays and having in-school classes on Thursdays and Fridays.
Wednesdays have been designated as remote learning for all students districtwide, in order for deep cleaning to be performed in all buildings.
