Car Slams Into Chinese Restaurant In Enfield
A car slammed into a Chinese restaurant in the Thompsonville section of Enfield Wednesday.

ENFIELD, CT — A car slammed into a venerable Chinese restaurant in the Thompsonville section of Enfield Wednesday.
The crash at Main Kitchen took place in at about 1 p.m., Enfield Police Chief Alaric Fox said. The establishment is one of Enfield's longest-tenured restaurants featuring Asian cuisine and is located at 935 Enfield St.
A silver Toyota Camry could be seen partially inside the eatery as firefighters tended to a pair of injured people, who were eventually transported to area hospitals, Thompsonville Fire Chief Dave Deskis said.

No one inside inside was hurt, Fox said.
Building officials were also at the scene to "assess the facility," Fox said.

Main Kitchen is a family owed restaurant that has been in Enfield since 2002.
