Charges Filed In 2020 Serious Injury Crash Case In Enfield
A man determined to be operating his vehicle at 96 miles per hour at the time of a Sept. 2020 crash was arrested on a warrant Monday.

ENFIELD, CT —An East Windsor man was charged Monday on a warrant in connection with a serious motor vehicle crash in Sept. 2020 which left another motorist with serious injuries, according to police.
Alan F. Jackmauh, 57, was charged with first-degree assault, reckless driving, failure to drive in proper lane and failure to wear a seat belt. He was held on $40,000 cash bond, police said.
According to a police report, on Sept. 18, 2020, Enfield police responded to a motor vehicle crash on Depot Hill Rd. An investigation revealed a vehicle driven by Jackmauh struck the passenger side rear corner of a vehicle being operated by a 46-year-old man, causing the man's vehicle to roll over. The second driver sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.

Investigation determined Jackmauh was operating his vehicle at 96 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone about five seconds prior to impact with the second vehicle, police said.
