Common Core Math...for Parents

KITE is hosting a parent workshop that answers the question many elementary parents ask... What is my child learning in math??? Why does the math my child is doing look so different?.

Jason Lamesa, Enfield Public School's K-12 Mathematics Coordinator and Kerry Wiley, K-12 STEAM Mathematics and Computer Education Coordinator will discuss how instructional shifts are supporting student learning. They will present ideas to help support mathematical learning at home and will discuss ST Math, its support of these shifts, and how it can be used at home. The workshop will be offered on Tues, Mar 5th. Both are 6:30 - 7:30PM at Henry Barnard Elementary School.
