Crash Closes Segment of Busy Enfield Roadway

‪ENFIELD, CT — A rollover crash involving a vehicle and a utility pole has brought down wires at the intersection of Route 190 and Freshwater Boulevard, police said.

A segment of the roadway, also known as Hazard Avenue, is closed as an investigation proceeds. Police advise motorists to avoid the area. ‬

A heavily damaged vehicle wound up overturned just east of the intersection. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with a "minor injury," Police Chief Alaric Fox said.
