Enfield KITE's 3rd Annual Bike Bash

Community-wide bike event promotes family fun and bike safety

Enfield KITE (Key Initiatives to Early Education) and Enfield Plays On! once again hosted a free Bike Bash event for the Enfield Community. On June 24th, over 130 toddlers to tweens cycled around Enfield's Town Hall parking lot on bikes, trikes and roller blades. Participants moved through stations manned by Play Ambassadors, that included; Helmet Safety check by the local police, bike repair shop, free snacks at the drive through, obstacle course to learn road safety, a race track and a bike wash.

*KITE (Key Initiatives to Early Education) is a community collaborative dedicated to enhancing health, family engagement & support, and early care & education to Enfield's youngest residents.

*Enfield Plays On! campaign's mission is to inform, incorporate and increase play in our community.
