STUDIO CITY, CA — Amid a sea of hopeful contestants clad in getups ranging from bunny outfits to hippies to doctors, a former Enfield resident won a cash prize on one of America's most popular daytime game shows.

Pamela J. Cramer, a 1991 graduate of Fermi High School who now lives in Los Angeles, was selected from the audience on an episode of "Let's Make a Deal" by host Wayne Brady. Dressed as "The Queen of Spades," she was asked where she was from and replied, "I'm originally from Enfield, Connecticut." She told Brady she works as a human resources director for a cancer research company.

Brady had her play a game entitled Movin' On Up, a progressive pyramid-style game in which the contestant rolls a single die to reveal cash prizes. Should the contestant advance all the way through the game, the grand prize was a $21,000 Ford EcoSport SUV. However, Cramer was "zonked" on her third roll, winding up with $1,000.
