SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY — Amid the growing new coronavirus pandemic, Enfield-raised and Billboard charting singer/songwriter Cassandra Kubinski has released a new song and live video, "Everyday Heroes," as a tribute to healthcare workers, frontline workers, essential services folks and communities helping to flatten the curve as the virus progresses. The song, from her latest EP "Dreams," gives a shout-out to the ones who "quietly save the day...let's celebrate the Everyday Heroes."

The isolation brought on by the pandemic has forced artists to find innovative ways to collaborate, as Kubinski did with co-writer and producer Tony Daniels for the song's video. The valedictorian of the Enfield High School Class of 2001 was live from Saratoga Springs, and Daniels was live from Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the live performance video.

"I think that we're all feeling disconnected right now, in some ways, and yet more connected than ever in other ways," Kubinski said. "We wanted to make this video to connect with humans around the globe going through this together, and to express our commitment to being "together at home" and finding new ways to be creative, collaborative, and to contribute our music in ways that make a difference."

Kubinski and Daniels encourage people to share the video with the hashtag #EverydayHeroes, and to tag people deserving of thanks and acknowledgement, including first responders, healthcare workers, or friends and neighbors stepping up and helping in ways that may seem simple, but are heroic at this time.
